rsvp stress

Giana, on March 2, 2020 at 1:32 PM Posted in Planning 0 6
I’m starting to really stress out! Our RSVPS are due back in two weeks and we have yet to get one “no” back. Now I’m thinking we are way over budget! People out of town that we thought would not come have replied yes and also we have had to add plus ones for several people. Is it normal for the regrets to come in towards the end??

Are you still awaiting for a lot of people to reply back?

We had a pretty low decline rate entirely, but we only got 2 declines right at the end.

Ours are due in 7 days and we've only had 7 declines, granted we're waiting on about 60 people to reply!

Regrets do normally come in towards the end of the RSVP date. We got very few declines until after our deadline when we had to reach out to people who didn't respond.

That "20% decline rate average" is completely false lol. We had very few guests decline and it caused me major stress as well. I'm not sure how many RSVP's you are still waiting on, but I'd think if you are going to get any no's, it will be the people who wait until the final week to RSVP.

Thanks ladies I am hoping there’s still some time we are waiting on about 60 more replies!
