We are having a DW so I decided to send my save the dates now(about 13 months in advance) so that people can start saving & making arrangements. One of my FH’s friend actually RSVPed which I didn’t even think people would start doing now..
I don’t want people to RSVP so soon and once invites go out, about 6 months prior to the wedding some people will cancel(life happens).

My question is, would you disable the RSVP? Or did you disable it when you sent your save the dates?

thoughts? Advices? Thanks.

Definitely disable it. There’s no reason anyone needs to RSVP before receiving an invitation.

I disabled the RSVP until invites went out. I didn’t want to have to follow up with people to see if things had changed.

We kept ours open and only about 6 people RSVPed for our save the dates, then re-RSVPed after our invites went out.
