rsvp online

Christina, on September 8, 2019 at 3:01 PM Posted in Planning 1 26
I am using ZOLA and I love the fact that people can RSVP online. Does this mean I should scrap people from mailing me RSVPS?
My maid of honor thinks I should do both but I AM SO NERVOUS about people not returning the RSVP.

I need advice

We’re having our guests RSVP online only. With the fact that we’ll have several older, not tech-savvy people attending, we’ll also put a phone number so they can call to RSVP if need be.

I am doing both that way for the less tech savvy people, they can have the option of what works best for them. Or if someone's RSVP gets lost in the mail on the way back to you they can still RSVP online.

We did online only and didn’t have any problems, even with people that aren’t very tech savvy.

I would say do both just in case. Sometimes things get lost in the mail or you may have people that’s not good with technology.

I did Zola online only.. I think no matter what you do you'll have to chase some people down. I didn't want to waste money on postage that people may not use.

I am doing online only with Zola. The oldest people we have are in their 50s and they are immediate family. Everyone should have no problem with online RSVP.

Surprisingly, i received more rsvps by mail than electronically. Some people won’t rsvp no matter what options they have. Lol I think giving people two options is good, especially for older people who aren’t as good with using the internet. I had people rsvp by email or mail.

I have Zola but I’m not doing the online rsvp. Very few people will even visit my wedding website so I don’t feel comfortable relying on that.

I’m doing online with Zola. Also gave the option for people to RSVP by email, text or phone. So far people seem to be doing it online without trouble.

I did my wedding site with minted.com and had online rsvp’s only. I mailed out our wedding invitation with our wedding website address and had no problems getting my rsvp’s back. I also created a Facebook event a week before the deadline date to remind guests that hadn’t replied that the deadline date was a week away. In the FB event I had the link and people responded almost immediately! My deadline date was 8/31/19 and I only had 8 that hadn’t replied! I thought it was very easy & had no complaints from anyone!

I wouldn’t scrap it if you’ve already sent them out. Just manually input the mailed RSVPs yourself into Zola so that you have the continuity you are looking for.

Hi Laura! How did you communicate this to your guests. Did you insert a card with your invites sharing this RSVP info or? Thanks!

Cool . Thanks. I’ll have to think of a spin on this because my invites have flowers on the back with no space for extra text.
