RSVP on weddingwire

Kristina, on September 6, 2010 at 9:38 PM Posted in Planning 0 3

I'm about to send out invitations for my wedding and I'm entering all the guests in the guest list. I have played around with the RSVP link on my webpage but I can't figure out how my guest will enter in how many people are in their "party". Anyone know how to fix this?

You have to have the household contain all of the people that are associated with the invitation. If you invite Kathy and Joe Smith and their kids Sara and Ed, you'd have to have them all entered in the Smith household. Then when Kathy enters her name to RSVP, she can RSVP for the entire household as well.

You can put something like "Guest for Ann Smith" so Ann Smith knows she gets one guest. I put it in like this: First Name: Guest for Ann, Last Name: Smith, that way I knew who it was for. So far it's working great!

I didn't know this was an option. I am using this as well but am not allowing them to enter a number of people they're bringing. What I did was, I got every single guest's name and entered them into my ww guest list. I put them together by household so when you search for yourself, you'll be able to RSVP for everyone in your household individually. And then I included a note that says something like...if you do not find a guest name on the list, please contact me so I can add them to the list.
