Rsvp methods

Are you providing multiple options for guests or just one for all? There’s traditional reply cards, online services, email, phone call/text.

    Hello Michelle.
We are going with the digital option because:
    1) We don't want people to add names on a card. 2) We can save money. But mostly because of 1).

For those who are not "internet savvy" , we are planning to call them 2-3 days before the RSVP deadline, so we are RSVPing in their name.

We gave guests the options to RSVP through our wedding website or by mail.

We did just RSVP response cards. I wanted to keep it simple. Knowing me, if someone texted me and told me they were coming I'd forget to make it off on my guest list chart.

We used the website or post card. More people went with the post card than expected.

We did digital RSVPs through our wedding website, but also provided our joint email address for any issues just in case some of our older guests couldn't figure it out.

I did card RSVPs because I know there are some people being invited who are older/aren't tech savvy. I also did not want to deal with a million questions on how to RSVP. We already get questions constantly even though it's on the invite or on the wedding website. Literally all they needed to do was fill their name out and pick their food choice and put it in a mailbox.

I feel regardless which way you do it you're always going to have to track people down to get an answer!

Our RSVPs were all online. Some people told us in person or by call/text which we were totally okay with - we just didn't specifically tell people to do so that way to encourage them to RSVP online and thereby actually check out the website. It worked pretty well, though of course we still had to track some people down.

I’m personally doing multiple (reply cards with an option for reaching out with rsvp via email or phone) just because we’ve been having a lot of issues with mail getting lost or stolen in my area recently. I also just feel like it’s easier for guests to have multiple choices so that older guests may want to stick to traditional methods of responses while younger guests may want to just contact me directly about it.

We are only doing traditional reply cards in the mail and making very clear that X amount of seats are reserved for their family and they fill in how many out of X are attending.

Rsvps through website only. Specifically put any RSVP not received by RSVP date will be assumed as regrets on our invite reception cards. I didn’t have any issues with my RSVPs. They all came in on time. I highly recommend.

We only did digital. Even our older guests were able to navigate the website, or have someone do it for them.

We're doing all online RSVP through our Zola website. All of the elders on the guest list have tech-savvy children who will assist them. We're also giving the option to text, call, or email us about it. I don't think we'll have issues with it.
