rsvp guest count

Kim, on January 24, 2024 at 9:19 PM Posted in Account Support 0 9
I have my guest list set and tested it to see how it worked. Can you add a place to add a +1 to your RSVP? I want to get a good head count

Is it okay if I move this discussion to account support? They might be able to help you there

Yes! You can do this in your Guest List:

    - Click the name of the guest you wish to add a plus one for

    - Under ‘Additional guests’, click ‘ Add related guests or a plus one’

    - Enter ‘Plus One’ as the first name

    - Click ‘Add Plus One’

    - Select whether the plus one is an adult, child, or baby

    - Click ‘Save additional guest’

On the RSVP page of your wedding website, we recommend that you add a note requesting that those bringing a plus one enter their name in the note section of the RSVP form. This way you are easily able to go back and edit the guest's name in your guest list!

I have my spot where you can add the rsvp by searching your name but it doesn’t show an option for them to add a plus one? How do I do this please as I don’t want to ask every person who their child or plus one is to add the names for them to rsvp separate

Hi Dawn! On WeddingWire, guests can not add their own plus ones or additional guests. You will need to add each plus one manually to your guest list.

I also recommend adding plus ones in this format "John Doe" and "Guest Doe" - that way when your guest searches for "Doe" they'll see themselves (John) and their guest!

Is there a way they can go in and edit the name themselves?

No, but there is an opportunity for them to include a message while RSVPing where they can provide the name of their plus one!

Sure! There's already a part of the RSVP process on the guest's side where they can include a message to the couple. We encourage you to include a note on your RSVP page instructing your guests to include the name of their plus one while RSVPing!

Here's an example: "If you are RSVPing for a guest, please include their full name in the "leave a message for the couple" section!"
