rsvp envelopes

Kris, on September 3, 2020 at 10:46 AM Posted in Planning 0 12

Probably a dumb question, but should I write people's return address on their RSVP envelopes or leave it for them to do?????

I left it for them to do. However, on at least 80% of the RSVP cards that were mailed back to us, they did not write their return address on the envelope. I suggest numbering the RSVP cards, so that if, for example, #20 is returned with no name and no return address on the envelope, you'll know who sent it back.

All of this. We numbered ours with an invisible pen from Amazon and it definitely came in handy.

Yes definitely number the cards! We had someone send their's in completely blank. No name, no yes or no, no return address. I did numbers on the back in the bottom corner and it saved me a lot of headache

We will have their address printed on the rsvp envelope along with our return address and prepaid postage.

We didn't add the return information. But I do like the idea of numbering them.

We didn't add their return information to the RSVP envelopes, it was easier to just print them all the envelopes the same!

But we did print our address on the RSVP envelope, pre-stamp them, and number the back of each RSVP card! 💌

I didn’t write the address but I wrote first initial last name.l so that if they didn’t at least their name would be there. I also numbered the cards.
So didn’t write their address on there. I think with everything else on the envelope ready to go, some people didn’t think twice about checking their address.

Just make it easier on yourself by writing their address as the return. It doesn't take that much longer and there's no confusion.

If you are making your own invites, knock two birds out with one stone by printing names of all invited guests on the reply card (along with detailed menu choices) so they simply have to check a couple boxes with zero confusion on either end.

We put our address on the rsvp envelope along with postage and number the back of the card.
