rsvp envelopes w/ address placement

Natasha, on February 21, 2020 at 2:55 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 6
Okay I’m in the process of ordering all my wedding stationary. But I’m having a difficult time with this seemingly easy question/task. Regarding the RSVP envelope, do I put my address on the back flap (just like the outer invitation envelope) or do I put my address on front and center as you would regular mail for when they send it back? (And if I am supposed to put the address on the back, it wouldn’t cause any issues with the post office with a blank center?)

You need to put your address on the front of your RSVP envelope since it’s being sent to you (the addressee).

Yep! Address them to you and stamp them so responders just need to drop in the mailbox. Or save money and have your RSVP cards state call or email response to......

Haha. Don’t even stress! Our hyper-focus sometimes keeps us from seeing things we’d catch otherwise. That’s why we’re here!

The RSVP envelope needs to have your address where the guest will send it (your house) so on the back in the center.
