rsvp early date

I have my rsvp date for 3/30 for my 5/8 wedding. My caterer needs a final headcount one month before the wedding. And I want at least a week to track down the people who don’t respond. Which I’m sure I will have to do. It may seem early but I don’t see any other way since my caterer needs those numbers. Now I am not sure what your situation is but I do not recommend B listing guests. If someone found out they could be very offended, I know I sure would.

I also have to agree with Shelly. Though that's not insanely early to ask for RSVPs, it's still not a good idea to B-list people, even if you have a small B-list and are pretty sure they aren't going to find out.

I don't think that is too early at all. We are asking for 6/20/2020 for an 08/01/2020 wedding. I would be careful with your B list. I don't agree that you can't have one.. but be prepared for questions if people find out they were invited after the fact!!

Our RSVP date is 4/4 for our 5/16 wedding. Our Carter needs head count by 4/16 so it is what it is. I'll probably be sending invites in a few weeks.
