rsvp & Details card?

Mckenna, on February 18, 2019 at 6:55 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 7

Hi! I'm having guests rsvp online and will definitely be including an rsvp card in the invitation, but do I also need a "details card" if all that information is on the wedding website? Can I include both the rsvp and the details information on the same card or should I do separate cards? If you're a great write can you please help me word it as well?

Daughter's RSVPs were strictly online. She had a small card (like business card-sized) that matched the invitations that said something like, "For more information and to RSVP by (date) visit (the website & password). She didn't do any separate "details" with the invitation. We didn't have any issues. Good luck!

I would still do a detail card, a lot of people still don't go onto the website and would miss that info

Hi there! I had similar thoughts as you. I was planning on doing the online rsvp information on one side and the details (hotel information) on the back. I was planning to do 5x7 for the invitation and then 3x5 or 4x6 for the rsvp/details card.

Hi Mckenna!! Welcome to WeddingWire! One question for my clarification: when you say you're sending out RSVP cards, do you mean that it's a card saying "RSVP online" or is it an actual RSVP card that people - maybe those who aren't computer savvy - can send back? If that's the case, then having the details on the same card would mean they're sending it back to you with their RSVP.

If that is not the case, then I think having the details on the opposite side of the RSVP information would be okay.

I have info on my wedding website but I am also going to do the basic detail card of hotel information, attire, probably info that there will be a valet, shuttle info for hotel guests, maybe the end time. I am not sure everything that goes on detail cards but I think it is pretty adjustable to your needs! The rsvp card should be separate because they mail that back to you. They need to keep the detail card.

Hi all! First, thanks for the help! Second, it will be an rsvp online card, so they wont be mailing anything back to me. So I'm leaning towards having a the "rsvp by date" on one side and then the details about rooms and all that other good stuff on the other side. I appreciate all the feedback! Smiley smile

I prefer two cards, since you send back the RSVP card so you wouldn't have it anymore.
