rsvp Deadline Question

Generally, the RSVP due date is 2-3 weeks before the wedding. I'm having mine 3 weeks before so I have a week to wrangle any stragglers before our final count is due I would have yours between May 16th and 23rd!

What is the first date that a vendor requires final # confirmation? Go with 7-10 days before that. Don't go super-early because "you would prefer to know sooner than later," that's pretty much a disaster waiting to happen because all guests won't really know their plans more than a couple weeks before the wedding date.

My wedding is also june 6! I was thinking may 10 because they will still take some time to get back through the mail and my final counts are due the 22nd, also it will be nice to have extra time to contact people who haven't responded.

but im not doing save the dates so I plan on sending them out a little earlier than normal

Our date was 40 days before our wedding, and that was early because our transportation needed a guest count 30 days out. I typically see RSVP dates 15-30 days out.

I'm announcing the RSVP deadline a month before the actual venue RSVP deadline.

I'm requesting RSVP be back 45 days before wedding day.
