Well my RSVP deadline is tomorrow and I'm still waiting on 97 people to respond 🤦‍♀️. We opted for online responses only, so I know there aren't any lost in the mail.
Looks like we'll be reaching out to a bunch of people later on this week.
And yes I know my deadline is a little early for my wedding, but my caterer needs a final head count July 1st. Also, it's a semi- destination wedding so most people will require an plane ticket, so they know if they're coming or not.

Thanks for making it to the end of my rant.

Ugh I hate when people take so long to RSVP. Some people also don't do it until the very last second and others definitely need to be chased down for one. I hope you get your responses in!

Thanks Melle! I knew we'd have to track down some people, but didn't think it'd be 3/4 if our guest list.
Oh well, I've been that person who missed RSVP deadline so I understand. Never realized how important it was until I started wedding planning!

I know your struggle! Our RSVP date was June 10, we were waiting on 61 people after the day passed. We did online RSVP and included stamped/addressed RSVP cards in each envelope. June 11 we contacted all 61 people (around 25 households). It's more than week after our RSVP date and we are waiting on 15 people. Yesterday, we were waiting on 20 and reached out AGAIN and heard back from 5. It's ridiculous.

Good luck! At least you'll get a chance to catch up with family and friends a bit. That is a lot of phone calls though. Divide it with fh and have him help lol!

Wow! At least im not alone, they say misery loves company lol.
That's ridiculous though, I usually know if I'm attending a wedding within a week of getting the invitation.
Im just glad I gave myself a week and half buffer to get all the missing RSVPs.

Yeah FH is going to have a HUGE list as most of these are his friends and family. Oh well, good thing he has Friday off, he can spend the day calling around.

Yeah! We gave ourselves 10 days before we finalized guest transportation. Luckily an extra few guests either way wouldn't change our order. We finalize bar & catering & dessert 2 weeks out so I'll have to reach out AGAIN to the remaining 15!

Uuugh I am in the same boat!!! It’s so frustrating especially when there’s so much riding on the numbers! I don’t wanna assume no response is a decline but on the other hand, how rude!!!😂

Our deadline was June 1 and I FINALLY was able to chase down the last two people today....almost 3 weeks later...it’s rough, and I kinda wanted to just shake people and yell at them for being rude. We were missing about 30 households at the deadline 🙄 hang in there, you will wrangle them eventually! Divide and conquer!
