I’m getting so Annoyed ! I had my invitation sent out middle of June. Our wedding is September 21,2019. I wanted them to send back by 08/01, our Wedding is a destination wedding . You should know if your coming or not. Why I’m annoyed is when I text/call you oh and Facebook message you. And you don’t respond!!! It’s plan just rude!
Please tell me I’m not the only one who has this happen?!! At this point I could careless if you come or not. Lol I knew this was happen, I gave myself a full month before my deadline with my coordinator. I was doing so good planning a wedding in 164 days till this!

It happens to everyone. Give them a firm deadline and let them know that you won't be accomodating for them if you don't get a response. "The RSVP deadline for our wedding was 8/01 and we noticed that we haven't received yours yet. We need to turn in our final headcount soon. If we don't receive a response by Xdate, we will assume that you're unable to attend."

Sometimes it’s very hard to travel for a wedding you should truly think of that. You have to think of people having to book a flight get a hotel and if they have children possibly find a sitter while they go or take them along.
Keep it calm and cool. Maybe everyone is looking for flights..
best of luck hope everyone comes to your wedding and congratulations

Yes it happens to everyone but like Caytlyn said above just send them that message and let it go. We had one person ignore me until 3 days before the wedding and ours was also a destination wedding. Then they responded they were coming after I gave my final count, finished all my table seatings, etc. I was so pissed but what could I do he has bought airline tickets. Ugh so frustrating. Try to breathe.

Hopefully they get in touch soon!

I agree with first poster. Be firm and give a final RSVP date.

i understand that people have to book flights and such, however, they cannot expect you to wait for them till the last minute. Many venues require a month or more for final headcount.
It is unfair and unreasonable for them to expect that two weeks before- when they book a flight- you will have had them in the final headcount. As you have given them not one, but two, deadlines for RSVP.

Ours isn't a destination wedding (I'm sure that gives you even more headaches!) but there is a blurb on my (non-traditional) invitations that if I don't hear back by our final RSVP date, feel free to come-but bring a chair and a sandwich because the food planning will be done by that time.
