What do you think about RSVP going in postcards form instead of in an envelope?

The postcards don't always turn out well because the post office ends up stamping a bunch of things on the postcard that may go on top of the information. An envelope would ensure you receive the RSVP in good condition

As a guest, I don't care. But as a bride, the RSVPs we select will have an envelope. The postcards seem too informal for what we want.

We did postcards for our RSVPs. We didn't have any problem with the post office. And everyone loved them. And they are SO much cheaper!

We are doing postcards as well! Our wedding isn't a formal event so it will fit just fine!

I just wish the post office would print postcard stamps already UGH!!!!

I'm strongly debating this as well because they are so much cheaper. I have used postcards as invitations to events in the past though and you have to be careful that you don't list anything too close to the bottom because thats where they put a fairly large stamp.

I'm doing postcards. My STDs were postcards and they all looked just fine with no issue so we figured, why the hell not?

Most of my clients go with RSVP Postcards. Saves the added expense of another printed envelope and the additional postage. Go for it!

My invitations are technically a postcard Smiley smile but I'm putting them in a envelope.
