You put stamps on your rsvp card envelope right? I just received an invitation to a wedding without a stamp on the rsvp card. Is this rude? Just wondering what was acceptable or if anyone else didnt and what were the reasons you didnt. This is a small detail I know but just curious what everyone had...

I mailed invites out last week and I think I might have accidentally missed a stamp on ONE RSVP. I realized it when I had an odd number of stamps left over. I felt horrible but they were already sealed when I realized it. Smiley sad

I agree that as the hosts you should stamp the envelopes to make it easier on your guests to mail back RSVPs. However it could have been a simple oversight, may not have been intentional. I wouldn't really think twice about it if it happened to me, I would just assume they didn't realize, use my own stamp and mail it back. No big deal to me.

I personally wasn't offended, they don't have an online rsvp option. Could someone elaborate on the international stamp complications I have a few guests out of the country, couldn't I just put a moon stamp on them or would it not work?

I stamped all of mine and got several back verbally or hand delivered. Oh well there was some postage wasted!

It's proper etiquette to stamp RSVPS, but I wouldn't just jump to conclusions and call them rude. They could have forgot or simple not have known any better. If this was the only etiquette faux pas, I could care less.

I wouldn't assume they did it on purpose. Mailing letters isn't common now a days so they could have just forgotten to add a stamp to the RSVP.

I wouldnt consider it rude, could've just been an oversight. We stamped ours but a lot of people RSVP'D online so maybe they wanted to encourage people to do it that way instead?
