rsvp by Text/email/ app?

Shaureeka, on November 4, 2018 at 6:09 AM Posted in Planning 0 14
Hey Brides?

So, I am planning on including either RSVP by Text or online somehow in my invitations instead of including postage and envelopes to send back since technology is our best friend these days. I know there are apps and websites that will allow you to send out invites and reminders through email and I feel like this is better due to saving cost, actually getting a RSVP back in a timely manner, and sending reminders. Have you guys found a websites best for this? Also, how would you feel about responding electronically for a wedding? Give me your input please

We did the old school text/call. We had a little details card with that info and not on our actual invitation. It didn’t occur to me until after everything was printed to just do it online but I didn’t make a website either. I think It’s a great idea and so simple. It was headache enough sending invitations through the mail taking weeks to get to people so I’m glad we did rsvp electronically.

Nice. Do you have a pic of what you sent out or how did you word things? Im awful with words and would like something simple. Do you think a small part stating RSVP by Text and include my number and also include a website. Or should i just collect everyone's email and send out rsvps through email after I feel like everyone has gotten their invites?

We did RSVPs thru our wedding website. I would recommend that over having people text you. It’s a lot easier to keep track of and you can just export it into a spreadsheet after everyone has RSVP’d.

I do like that you can electronically RSVP now. It saves time and money. But I have alot of old school and elderly people who dont understand how to use the internet so I have to go with the physical paper rsvps.

I think I will do both because there are many people who are used to responding thur evites. However you still have guest who prefer the traditional way.

I'm planning on doing our RSVPs through our Wedding Wire website! I'm also planning on putting an information card with my phone number on it in with the invitations for a few of our older relatives... I feel like it would take longer to explain to my Grandma how to RSVP on the website than to just have her call me and let me know what her plans are, lol. I guess we'll see how it goes!

I used Wedivite.com as my rsvp website and for my grandma I either asked her in person or called and just added her personally on the rsvp. Anyone else older their younger relatives just added them as a plus one on the rsvp.

I'm using The Knot for my wedding website, and that's where our RSVP is.
