What color are the groomsmen' shoes? I ask because FH and his BM went suit shopping and made an executive decision that the guys all need to rent brown shoes (?) and now I feel like my BM, who are wearing blue like yours, also should have brown shoes or it would look strange.

I would go with nude or silver. If you want to match the shoe to the dress, I would say that might be something you have to pay for for your girls. Most girls already have a nude or silver shoe, or can get one at a decent cost.
