I think it would depend on your guest list, rectangular tables seat 6, 120 inch round seat 8

I agree with Krystle but if you have enough room I'd say both

Since it looks to be a narrower space, I'd say rectangular to give a little more organization and space to walk.

I have been to a couple weddings as of recently that combine round and rectangle tables and I absolutely love it! I think it just adds some dimension to the room so I think if you have the space for both, do that! If not, I would say go for whichever one fits your guest count best.

I agree with PPs. Both round and rectangular would be great.

You could use the rectangular tables for the head table, where you and your bridal party are sitting.

Oh, okay. Well for my wedding I did all round tables, but I had a backyard wedding with no help from the venue, so I wanted things to be simple.

Personally, I think it would be cool to do both! Are you doing a seating chart? That may be something to think about too.

I’m doing both. The round tables are for the VIP family members.

I think round will let you play with the space a little more. Its a rectangular room so long tables will make it feel enclosed unless you have a smaller guest list.

We are going to try for both. I am waiting to see what the wedding planner says. I've seen photos of his events and he has mixed both styles effectively before. Your space looks narrow. What about putting two rectangular tables together to make wide tables ? as a secondary option instead of round ?
