Quantity recommendations:

Tossing: 1/3 to 1/2 cup per guest

Table decoration: 2 to 4 cups per table with centerpiece

Aisle, per square foot: 8 cups for dense, 4 cups for moderate, 2 cups for light, 1 cup for scattered.

Flower girl: 4 to 8 cups per flower girl

I wonder how many petals are in a cup?

8cups=180-200 petals.... or approx 24 petals per cup

Lets say we need 3 cups per table with a total of 13 tables....thats 39 cups of petals or approx 700 petals.

You can start off simple and inexpensive... maybe you can find a bag of petals at the dollar store or the wrong color in the clearance section of an art store. (or use a coupon and buy one bag/box of the correct color) Build a centerpiece on your table and check out visually what you like. Then you will know how many petals you really want per table.

Try dollar tree, they have white ones and online they have instructions on how to dye them to the color u want.
