Rose gold in the winter?!

Ana, on May 24, 2017 at 11:24 PM

I'm planning on having all of the tables covered in glittery rose gold tablecloths. Will the rose gold be ok for my winter wedding? Not sure what color themes are common for the winter besides purples.

I picked a rose gold dress and a navy dress. Navy looked better with their skin tone. But my dress has rose gold accents and they were afraid it was too close to mine. I have the "glitter" toppers and clothes and they are "shed" free! I went with a simple table scape because I think the cloths are a "lot" going on. I'm still deciding. The girl who handles the linens at my wedding is so sweet she keeps just pulling samples and setting up a table. Such a helpful woman!! Sometimes it's the little details that will put you over the edge!!

This isn't even an issue. Issues are what you're serving -- as far as apps, the dinner, and the bar are concerned. Decor? Not an issue -- at all. Select what you love and can afford. End of story. Nobody will talk about your decor unless it was fucking fantastically gorgeous and very expensive.

Absolutely! That is beautiful. Especially if you add lots of white.

I'd say rose gold is def a winter color and I'm using it too with dusty rose, charcoal grey, and eucalyptus green. I'm not sure where you got the purple thing though, but I've always seen it listed as a fall color

Metallics--like gold, silver, copper, bronze, and rose gold--look great in winter (and any season). I had a January wedding and we had silver and gold and a touch of rose gold in our decor. It looked beautiful. While it is an option to choose solely seasonal colors for your wedding color palette, it's absolutely not necessary to limit yourself to seasonal colors alone; you can pick any colors for your wedding as long as it is what you like. If you're looking for other colors that go well with rose gold, you have many options such as navy, blush, pinks, burgundy, cool tone grays (light and dark), cool tone greens (light and dark), gray-blues, peach, cool tone tans, cream, whites, and ivory are all colors you could choose from. I would suggest going on Pinterest or google images and searching "rose gold color palette wedding" and find one you like!

I love rose gold so I think these are amazing and you should totally go with it if it's what you want! I personally think burgundy and blush work great with rose gold Smiley smile

I'm in the camp that seasons should not dictate what colors you can choose - do whatever colors suit your fancy.

My only reservation about that table cloth is the glitter - don't get me wrong, it *looks* fabulous, but it gets stuck on e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. My friend and I call glitter craft store herpes. Your dance floor is going to look like a kesha concert, haha.

Rose gold all day every day! I'm having an April wedding and my colors are rose gold, navy, and blush. My engagement ring also has rose gold accents and my wedding band will be all rose gold. I LOVE ROSE GOLD.
