Robes with or without titles

Caitlyn, on August 18, 2019 at 6:17 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 15
I'm gifting my girls robes on the day of. I dont want it to say bridesmaid, just cause it dates it and they'll always be reminded of being a bridesmaid every time they wear it. I want the back of my robe to have my new last name. Will it look odd if I have a name on mine, but not in theirs? It's my day after all...I know I wouldn't want all my gifts from a bride to say bridesmaid. I'm trying to make this as affordable as possible. $13 ish dollars for it to have the name isn't much, but when you multiply it by 4 it's a lot...thoughts?

I would say go without the titles. I did the same because I wanted my girls to feel like it was a gift for them.

Definitely go without the titles. No one will think it weird for you to have your name on yours.

I did the robes without any type of personalization.

No personalization is great. I don’t really want to wear a robe with my name on it, but I’d totally rewear a regular one

Definitely echoing the PPs that you should not do titles. I've done first names on the robes of one of my coworkers and my sister is having me do last names on the backs of hers for her wedding party. I don't think leaving theirs blank is a big deal at all, but if you do decide you want to do something, you can go one of those routes.

I just put their names on it. I figured that it’s not super wedding and their name is general.

I wouldn't do titles, but they could be cute with their initials monogrammed on the front

I agree that it’s a good idea to steer clear of titles.

It's totally fine to not have titles on the BMs' robes! Go for personalization on yours if you want Smiley smile

I ordered 2 robes and just had their monogram embroidered on the left chest, no "titles" and they absolutely loved them!

I would just add name on yours and not the others. The girls might not be married yet so their name is also going to change so avoid names.

Keep theirs plain. Yours will look great and stand out and theirs will be more versatile for them going forward.
