Robes for Moms?

Hi all! So I got robes for all the bridesmaids, and am wondering if it's strange to get the same exact ones for the moms too? They are both getting ready with us all, and the robes are long and cover everything well, comfortable, etc, so that's not a concern for the moms. I could get a different pattern but the one I got the bridesmaids is just so lovely! Is having the bm's and moms in all the same outfit strange? Thanks a lot!

Oooooh! I’ve been thinking about doing this. No suggestions for moms though. Neither my mom or FMIL would wear one.

I want to get my mom and FMIL something to wear as well as two of my cousins who won't be bridesmaids but will be a part of getting ready and everything. I got my girls and myself flannels to wear so I thought about maybe getting them all flannels in a different color.

Can you get the same pattern in a different color? Or it has to be a different pattern altogether? It’s not strange having them all in the same color if that’s something you/they feel fine with!
I got my girls dark emerald green robes with their initials on them in white and my Mom a mint robe with Mother of the Bride in gold. My Mom would have felt weird being in the same color as my BMs but this way she’s still included.

I was thinking about this too! There's me, my MOH and 1 BM but then my mom and close family friend(who is our officiant) will be getting ready with us too, getting their hair & makeup done. I want them to feel included so I think I'm going to get the same pattern robes for them too! Where did you get your robes from?
