Robbing the Cradle

We're both 22, 10 days apart actually. So I'm older. We don't get age difference comments but we get a million and one "you're too young to get married" I'm at the point where I'm done having intelligent replies and just want to tell them to fuck off.

I am younger. FH is a little more than 6.5 years older than I.

I'm also older than my fiance (I just turned 28, he'll turn 26 in June), but we haven't gotten too many comments about it. Usually if anyone says anything, it's me teasing him about being younger.

I'm older. 6 1/2 years apart! I'll be 37 and he'll turn 31 the month after we get married.

He's 38, I'm 34. I don't think there's anything wrong with your age difference. 23 is a tad on the young side but I don't think you're "stagnating" his life or anything. That's kinda harsh. My grandmother was 7 years older than my grandfather and they were married close to 60 years.

Im younger by 1 yr and 2 months. He's 20 and i'll be 19 at the wedding but I (and my mother) have a baby face and get told I look 13 all the time. On our first date he came outside to get in the car with me and he mentally freaked out thinking I was like 12 and had lied to him lol. We get told all the time we're too young to get married. I say we already live together, act like a married couple(we get called the old married couple), and don't see the point in waiting longer when we know we are going to stay together.

I'm 35 and he's 37. No comments given. :-)

He is 7 years older. I look really young though so we do get funny looks

FH is a lot older than me, 16 years. I'm 25, and he'll be 41 in June. A lot of his friends make jokes about him marrying a younger woman, but obviously to us, age doesn't matter much. My mom was a bit weirded out at first, but now she loves my FH. Different strokes for different folks.

FH is nine years older than I am. He's 35, never been married and no kids, and I'm 26. Everyone just teases him because I'm his "child bride" and says he's "robbing the cradle." My favorite is when people say stuff like, "oh, so he was driving around looking for girls when you were learning how to tie your shoes!" Lol

He is my brothers best friend (he has actually known my brother longer than I have since I just met my brother in 2007) so that makes for other interesting comments as I'm sure you can imagine.

I'm 38 and FH just turned 50. Nobody ever says anything to us. Most people don't believe he's 50 either. They usually guess about 43.

He will be 30 and I will be 29. our birthdays are 1 year and 2 weeks apart.

ETA: only comments I get are "I'm glad you are finally getting married! (not about us as a couple but me making it through my 20s without getting married)"

FH just turned 28 in January, I'll turn 28 a few weeks after our wedding.

Im 36, he's 24.

My FH is 32 and I am 23 so 9 years apart. I think we met at the perfect time because if I had been much younger I think we would have been to two different stages in our lives. I look young but so does my FH most of the time. When he first met my parents my dad asked if I had seen his ID because he didn't believe he was that much older.

My FH is older by 9 years; I am 24 he is 33. He really doesnt look that old, (he passes for older 20's), but no one ever says anything. We like to joke about it.

He gets high fives from friends though when they find out.

I'm 37, FH is 42. No comments as its not a big age difference.

I am 43 he is 29... none believes it.. they think he is older and i am younger... the only ones with issue with it was his mom and sister in beginning.. but after almost 5 years i think they accepted it

I'm a year and half older but everyone always thinks and assumes he's older.

He's 22, I will be 22 on Monday. We are exactly six months apart. We don't get comments about our age difference but lots about being young.

However my sister and her husband are six years apart. When they started dating my sister was only 20 so my parents were a little apprehensive, once they realized how perfect he was for her, no one mentioned it. Sometimes we tease him for being old, that's about it.
