Road trip

Does anyone have suggestions on a road trip for our honeymoon. We would be leaving from Iowa. We are pretty laid back and open to all suggestions.

We are road tripping in Utah for our honeymoon in October!

We are flying into Salt Lake City in Utah, and then we are stopping at all five National Parks: Arches, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, and Zion. We are going to stay 2 or 3 nights in each location, and end in Las Vegas!

Not sure if you would be open to flying somewhere first or if you wanted to just drive somewhere straight from Iowa.

I just took a road trip for my bachelorette party to New Orleans about a 17 hour drive. I'm not sure how far it would be for you but it was def. a cool place. You could do Smokey Mountains/Gatlinburg in Tenn. That might be more romantic as you can rent romantic cabins or something

Ooooh! We are doing this next year in the fall. We are leaving from Wisconsin, driving through to Toronto, ON, then to Montreal, Quebec, then Augusta, Maine through Massachusetts and then back through PA, OH and back home. The longest driving distance out will be to Toronto which is a 10 hour drive, the rest of the stops along the way are only 3-5 hours apart so we plan on sight seeing and taking our time trough the north east during the fall! I am uber excited.

I love the Outer Banks, it's a great beach town without the tourist traffic.

If you end up coming east, I'd recommend the Smoky Mountains and Blue Ridge Parkway, especially in the spring or fall.
