Hi everyone,
Hope the week is going well! So I am still in the midst of wedding dress shopping despite the fact that my wedding is in October, ack! I found a dress at RK bridal in NYC that I really like. But I haven't heard such great things about their alteration department including the wait time, waulity of service etc. Am I being overly paranoid? What have your experiences been with RK Bridal?
And if not RK Bridal, are there any tailors (I am based in Brooklyn) that you would recommend for alterations? I am looking at reviews online but would love your thoughts as well.

I couldn't tell you where to go, as I am in Texas!! But........your wedding is one of the most important days in your life. DON'T TAKE A CHANCE ON THEM IF YOU HEARD TOO MANY BAD REVIEWS. As a business owner, 3 is too many but it happens. More than that, trust the people who gave bad reviews. They can't all be overreacting. Good luck!! I'm sure you will be beautiful on uour big day!!

I live in NY and know plenty of people that got their dresses at RK and none of them complained about alterations.

I got married in june and got my dress and alterations at RK bridal I have no complaints everything went smoothly
I would just say wait time can be lengthy on weekends but i would go slightly earlier than my appointment and that was never an issue

I'm from NYC (live in Pgh), and I bought a dress form RK bridal, I am waiting for my alterations appointment. I haven't heard anything, my friend got married in 2015 and was a RK bride she didn't have any complaints. The only thing I questioned is that they made me go a size up just to take it in. idk . My first alteration appointment is in August I will keep you posted!
