Thoughts?! We keep going back and forth and the price is only 500 dollars different so I just wanted to throw it out there and see what everyone thought! We have never been anywhere outside the US.

I can only speak on Jamaica. I vacationed in Ocho Rios at an all inclusive resort (Riu). Beautiful scenary, easy beach access, great food. The only time we left the resort was to go to Dunn's River where we climb the waterfalls. Overall, i would recommend.

We stayed at the Hilton Rose Hall Resort in Montego Bay and had a great time. We left the resort to go to Dunn's River Falls, to tour the Rose Hall Plantation, and to go ziplining. Overall, it was a wonderful trip!

If you want to want to do some of your own adventuring, the Mayan Riviera is generally much safer than venturing out on your own in Jamaica.

I’ve been to both and prefer Riviera Maya. Mainly because I found the food to be better.
