Hey y’all..
So, when FH and I first got engaged he picked out his ring and sent it to me so that I knew which one to get. The ring I chose matches his and we both love these rings. The problem is this, since coronavirus I’m worried I’ll no longer be able to afford his ring since I have no income now. I’ve expressed my concern to him and he told me that he would buy his ring if I can’t afford it and that everything would be fine, which I really appreciate. But at the same time its also very important to me that I buy/order his ring myself and he does the same with mine so that it’s special on our big day. Anyone have any suggestions about what to do?

Try to make some money on the side. Whatever you’re good at sell that service. List some items you no longer need on eBay. You can also search for a less expensive version of the ring.

If you have a of it picture Im sure another jeweler can replicate it. I’d shop the picture around to other jewelers and go with the lowest quote.

I completely understand how this feels. You could 1) reach out to the seller to find out if they would be willing to let you pay it off in payments (some people are being very generous during this time!) If not, it becomes a matter of what's more important to you: the rings or who buys them. If he ends up having to pay for the ring, you could later fund a fun trip together or surprise him with an extravagant gift on an anniversary!

We ordered my fiance a wooden ring. We got it from rustic and main, but there's a whole bunch of websites that have rings just like the one that in the picture!! I would definitely look into it a little bit more, you might be surprised!!
