Thank you! My fiancé chose the diamond and setting because I told him a long time ago that I like oval cut and thin gold bands 🥰

I have always really liked them too, kind of vintage looking.

You cannot tell in the picture because it is pretty close, but I have pretty small hands (my ring is only a size 4.5) and I think the shape of the stone help my fingers look a little longer 😂

It was... unfortunately my MIL left many hints but it was still a surprise for WHEN THE MOMENT WAS lol. It happened after a ceremony for the department— we had hired one of our friends to take our family pics (him I and our daughter) at the statehouse since we would all be dressed up anyway it just made sense to make an appointment for the pics to be done right after —- and then when he asked me !

View Quoted Comment Thank you! He actually customized it. He wanted the solitaire cut for me (which I LOVE the classic look of it) but he saw the center stone of a cushion cut. So he took the stone from the cushion cut and built the ring around that.
