I had my e-ring and wedding band pre-soldered. I also had them resized as they were too big for my finger. I have larger knuckles but the "meaty" part of my finger is smaller. The jeweler measured my band to a size 4 and we decided to size my e-ring to a 4.5 (they did not have 1/4 sizes on their ring sizer.) We just picked them up yesterday afternoon. I struggled to get them on a bit over my knuckle but we had been out running errands so I thought maybe my fingers were slightly swollen from that. Last night and today I am worrying that they are too small since they were soldered. ( I read that rings will fit more snug once soldered) So while we measured my fingers for two rings, once soldered I am afraid that these are too tight? Once they are past my knuckle I can freely move them left to right without a struggle. When I press the bottom of the ring I can see a space between the top of my finger and ring. I can fit a toothpick between my ring and finger (all things google said to check for) the only issue I find is getting it on and off over my knuckle. SO I am wondering, should I take them back in to get them a half size larger or just plan on keeping them on so I don't end up with sore knuckles but won't have the problem of a spinning ring? (*Sigh*)
