Ringing the Bell

My mom rang it for me. I was a bit disappointed, but I understand she was just excited. There were a lot of bells ringing that day, and everyone got overexcited - there was always a group charging towards the bells to give congratulations to the brides. We kinda started that... but we made several other brides feel great and even helped 2 out on picking a dress. We're weird and too friendly lol!

Mine was awkward haha. There were two other people only in the store (Wednesday night) and the stylist yellllllllled it out. Everyone ignored it haha.

I actually asked not to ring the bell. I went by myself on a spur of the moment just to check out what they had on sale. This fantastic lady helped me and found a beautiful dress that I bought right then. I asked her since I was alone did I have to "ring the bell". Of course she let me off the hook I had a great experience and lovely lady helping me.

I’m the kind of person who hates extra attention. So ringing a bell like that was so awkward for me. But I was so excited to find my dress!! Everyone around me clapped. Lol.

I felt a little funny ringing the bell because it was 9pm on a Thursday night, and I was the only bride in the store. So my experience was awkward in a different way.

I hate that damn bell!! Mine was super awkward. Saturday mid morning, store was packed and the consultant insisted.... I could have done without it for sure.

Cancer patients in the hospital I work at ring a bell when they finish chemotherapy and are in remission. Ringing a bell for a dress is really a slap in the face to them. Aside from being awkward.

So I found my dress there the weekend of Xmas so it was literally my mom sister and a bridesmaid of mine so I mean it was fun but when we went to go get bridesmaid dresses Saturday morning and just packed this one girl did it and everyone looked so confused

It was SOOO awekward! On top of being really shy and not liking excess attention, I recently moved so all of my family and friends live half way across the country and I was alone. The stylist rounded up all of the other workers to come cheer and the other brides and families all did too. It was awesome for so many people to be so excited but also made me really self conscious.

Yes. Someone took a video. It was awkward but great experience. I am usually shy. The good thing was in the area I was near there was only staff the other girls was in the other corner. Lol.
