Ring

Beautiful ring! So I don't actually have the same ring, or one that's very similar but I did find these photos to give you ideas!! What i will say in my experience is I have an intricate band and opted for a straight wedding band with diamonds. I wanted to have the option to wear my wedding band on its own in the event I didn't want to wear my diamond. Well, in hindsight, I wish I had gotten the band to actually match my engagement ring. I think it would look better. And really in the few years I've been married I've virtually never worn my diamond on it's own. I have a rubber band I wear when I do things where I don't want to wear my diamond (hiking, travel, swimming, etc.).

My ring is similar. Here is my engagement ring and the link to the band we picked to go with it. I don't have a picture of them together but it looks great!! I like the both have twists on them and aren't completely traditional .

I have a really similar ring, but no pictures unfortunately because it's at the jeweler again. FH had two custom bands made to fit with my ring. One side of the band will fit into the curves and the other is flat. So when its all together it will look like one ring. Just be wary- I'm having to have my bands remade due to sizing issues and they told me it would take 12 weeks. I also have to give up my engagement ring for that whole time since they have to use it as a mold.

I’m assuming you’ve already checked that your engagement ring setting would work with a traditional straight band? As long as the center stone is raised high enough you’re all good! Some people have to get special customized bands because their setting is too low and the band must curve around the center stone.

I have a twist shank engagement ring and paired it with a similarly twisted band. I wanted to like wearing the wedding band alone and liked the twisted band best. I think it really comes down to what your like, what’s compatible with your engagement ring and if you want to solder or not.
