H and I picked out the setting together and he picked out the diamond separately! He absolutely nailed it. I wanted a band that was dainty. I joked that I just wanted a diamond tied to some fishing line Basically I wanted the thinnest band that we could possibly find because I don't like thick bands. He did so much research to find the perfect diamond and he did just that! I love that he spent so much time on it because it was really important to him to find the perfect one. I have had so many women stop and tell me that it is their dream ring, which always makes H super happy and proud
I ABSOLUTELY love mine! I wanted something a little different, lol. I told my fiance (still getting used to that!) that I wanted a heart shaped diamond and me got it for me! #LoveHim
I love your setting! I thought I wanted something very close to that, but I didn't like the way it looked on my big hands, so I had to go with something more substantial.
My now husband and I designed the ring together. He wanted to make sure it would be something that I completely loved (and he knows how picky I am). The bands are rose gold (hard to tell from the pics). Our jeweler did an amazing job! I stare at it at least once a day. Obsessed!
Thank you!!! I love it too. I have small hands so the thinner bands felt perfect for me!
I love your setting with the matching band so much sparkle!!!!!! The band and setting are so unique with the the diamond pattern, I've never seen one like that before!
I just got engaged 12/30/18 and there is nothing I love more than admiring this ring. He did such a wonderful job picking out something that was very “me” and the black diamond matches earrings he got me on vacation in 2017!
It's lovely! It looks like an Old European cut (OEC) diamond - they're my favourite! With their big facets throwing off such a sparkle, there just isn't anything like them! Mine is a cluster of OEC's, each cut by hand and over 100 years old. Will post mine soon!
YES! Sometimes while driving the sun reflects to make it sparkle and i get so distracted! This photo is from the day my fiancé proposed, he picked it out I had no idea

Thank you! It was on the Eye! I was actually taking this picture, and turned around to him on one knee! Now for the most important question, what club do you support?
I am in LOOOOOVE with mine. It's not what I would have immediately picked if I had been asked "what kind of engagement ring do you want", but the thought she put into choosing it and the fact she picked it makes me love it more than anything I could have picked. The item name is "Love Lasts Forever" I stare at it all the time. Behind mine you can see the one I bought for her, with a ruby since that's her birthstone. It wasn't what I had originally given her to propose (band at first because I didn't know she wanted a stone), but I took her out and let her choose her own. I grab her hand all the time to stare at hers too and she thinks it's hilarious.
As a creative, I'm so inspired by all of the rings shared here! Here’s my e-ring, designed from scratch with my FH. It's custom-made, with our story woven into it. because as designers, we wanted to create our e-ring ring with personal meaning.
We designed our ring using antique Old European cut Diamonds and had them set in Platinum. The Diamonds were sourced from an Art Deco ring, found after searching for 14 months! trust me, ladies, that was a hard 14 months to wait!!!
Each stone is hand-cut and polished in the 19th century by a diamondiare (an old school artist who cut diamonds using gaslight, before electricity!). Theyre super-sparkly and really shimmer, especially in low light!!
We also wanted diamonds that were not machine-made, and created from the old 19th C diamond mines. after this time, the South African mines were found (which most modern diamonds come), and S.African diamonds are controlled by De Beers diamond company. Because they do not come from De Beer mines, my ring is ethical 100% conflict-free ring, with no risk of being blood diamonds, which is important to us.
There are 10 smaller diamonds, each one growing in size, for each year we’ve been together (10), and of our relationship deepening. The ring’s shape echoes the old Victorian crossover' ring shape, with the two rows of diamonds symbolising two individuals, joined in the centre by love (the larger diamond) Finally, we called her Andromeda, because she looked like a galaxy, and we both love stargazing. Sorry, we're shameless romantics!! 💗 Though our ring may not look like modern rings, and may not be to everyone’s taste, we love that it is a unique one-of-a-kind, and timeless.
