Ring prongs- 4 or 6?!

I actually prefer the four prong. But possibly if the prongs themselves can be a little more dainty (like in the top pic). The six prong takes away from the oval shape of your diamond and makes it look like a marquis shape.

So I do notice the difference, and at first I thought that the six looked better, but I actually think the diamond looks bigger with the four.

The 4 makes the diamond look more oval and 6 makes it look marquise

I like the 6 prong! It’s so pretty

I like the 4 prong because you can see the shape of your beautiful diamond better, but a PP added an image of a 6 prong that doesn’t make it look like a marquise. The smaller prongs on that look better if you want smaller!
