My FH insured my engagement ring through jewelers mutual. We haven't had to file a claim or anything but from what he read it would be easy to do so. He said the process to get the insurance was very easy and that it protects against a lot of things.

We added the ring to our renters insurance policy. It was really easy and not expensive at all.

Yes, my ring is insured through Jewelers Mutual. They have a very easy application process, I think it took me maybe two and a half minutes start to finish through my mobile browser.

My ring is insured through them. It is like $30 a year.

Just a note, insurance for a named valuable like a ring is typically 2-3% of the replacement cost listed on the appraisal. We thought our insurance would be around $100 a year, but it's actually closer to 3x that because of the replacement cost. He bought the ring through a dealer and while I don't know exactly what he spent, I know what he could have afforded at that time and it's substantially less then the replacement cost. I'm not sure the process of asking for a lower replacement cost value on the appraisal, or if an insurance company would be willing to insure it for less than that amount. Just a heads up!

We added ours to our rental insurance policy. I cover all of my jewelry that way. It isn't expensive and they fully cover the ring if anything happens.

Mine is insured through Jewelers Mutual. The claim process is pretty simple. These are the claim requirements:

A notarized, detailed statement from you about the damage to the engagement ring. Include in your statement(s) how, when and where the incident occurred.

Any document(s) that will substantiate ownership and full description of the item(s) such as an

    appraisal, bill, or receipt.

We insured my ring through Jewelers Mutual. They were comparable to all others we checked and I didn't have to get my ring checked yearly.

I have not heard of Jewelers Mutual, sorry no help there. My FH insured my ring through State Farm. That's where we have our 2 cars and rental insurances.

My jeweler highly recommended jewelers mutual. If you lose your ring, break it, the diamond falls out, etc. you can go to any jeweler that you'd like to replace or repair. They cover everything you could imagine. It's a reasonable fee each year for peace of mind.

We have my Ering insured with jewelers mutual. Haven't had a claim yet (knock on wood). It took less than 5 minutes to get it insured. Didn't have it insured for months and I was always afraid the diamond would pop off. Lot more sense of security now.
