Ring boxes

Stacey, on May 18, 2018 at 8:47 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 1 12

Okay, so this may be a really dumb question, but I've Googled until my hands cramped so here goes! How many ring boxes do you need the day of? Do you get one for the groom, one for the bride, or one for both? For photography purposes do you need one for the engagement ring as well? I plan on either wearing my engagement ring on my right hand or having FH place it at the same time as the wedding band. I've been all over Etsy and have seen everything from ring bearer boxes, individual boxes, boxes with 2 slots, boxes with 3 slots...I'm so confused. lol

Oh and I should add, we are not having a ring bearer, the best man will be holding them.

I’m wearing my engagement ring for the ceremony. I bought a ring box off of Etsy that both of our rings will go in since our best man will hold the rings.

I plan to wear my engagement ring for the ceremony. Our best man will hold the rings for us so I guess just one box which is what they're currently in. I'm not spending more money on something that isn't important. As long as the rings make it to the ceremony and onto our fingers I couldn't care less how they get there.

I had my fiancé buy me a Mrs. box - they’re expensive but beautiful. Monogrammed with married last initial. Can’t wait for it to come in! We got one for just both our wedding bands

I had one box that I made and was big enough for both wedding bands, I wore my engagement ring and temporarily shifted to my right hand when we exchanged rings.

Usually you only get one box that holds both of your wedding bands. You can wear your engagement ring on your right hand or wear on your ring finger and just adjust it after the ceremony. Our ring bearer did not carry the rings since he was only 3 so our best man carried them. We only got a box to put them in because we had a ring blessing where the box was passed around so the guests could bless them.

The best man can just put them in his pocket - no box needed Smiley smile

I wish...you don't know our best man, he will have a hole in his pocket, or something equally disastrous that day. Dude has the WORST luck. Smiley laugh

So you wore your engagement ring on your left hand? I was thinking of doing that, mine barely goes over my right hand, I'm afraid it will get stuck!

Yep! I wore it down the aisle and then took it off and put on my right pinky just as the officiant started the ring exchange part.
