Nothing too extreme, but still excited about this little DIY project!

We were struggling to find something we liked and didn’t want to spend too much on Etsy, so we got a box for about $6, some burlap that will also be used on centerpieces, and some scratch construction paper to form the “cushion”. The only other thing we might add is vinyling the date on the inside of the lid.

It might be small but I’m so happy with how it turned out and excited to have something else to check off the list!

So fun and you can always use the box for other things in the future!

We had a tiny box we got while traveling in Arizona. I saw this box that didn't even look to be a box since it was so thin and not much indication. Fast forward a few years and I decided it fit or simple bands perfectly. I cut some foam to fit inside.

We looked at that one! We liked it but both of us are a little picky about designs/sayings/etc so it wasn’t quite “us”.
The rest of the design was definitely what we were after though!

The little cushions we made fit in there nicely, but they’re pretty easy to pull out. Being able to reuse it later is definitely a plus side.

Your box is gorgeous! Its so nice that you were able to use something you had gotten together before.

Im trying to find a log cut in half with a hinge thatts hallowed out with moss and a little latch for our rings lol i thing im being to picky though

It looks great! We bought ours off of Etsy and had it made because I thought It would be too complicated to diy. However the more I diy The more I wish I would Have at least tried first lol. Kudos to you. 😃 I think the date would look great on it. this is the one we got on Etsy.

That is so cute! I’m feeling the same way about a lot of DIY stuff. Some of it took forever to figure out (our invitations) but a lot of the decor stuff is coming together pretty easily. I was never really crafty so I’m pleased with it!

Yep, my budget is starting to run dry so I’m doing my best to avoid Etsy. Any online shopping needs to turn to Amazon because I can usually find things I like for a little cheaper over there

I also DIY-ed our ring boxes. We have 2 ring bearers, so I knew we had to give each boy a box. I repurposed some small Christmas gift boxes and added a bow. Total cost of project: $4 for the ribbon.
