Ring bearer: Yes! Or Skip!

Most people know that the ring bearer walks down the aisle carrying a pillow with two rings tied to it, but do you know why? Will you have a ring bearer at your wedding? Why or why not?

My 5 year old nephew will be pulling a wagon that my niece will be sitting in (she's the flower girl & will only be a little over 1 years old at the time of the wedding). My two 3 year old nephews are going to hold signs that say "It's okay ladies, we're still single", and my nephew who will be 8 months old will be carried by my brother (who's a groomsmen). They're going to be so cute so I can't wait to see pictures!

We aren't going to have a ring bearer. I mean we could but our wedding party is super simple.

I've seen an idea somewhere else where the rings were tied to an "oath ring" and the ring was held by both bride and groom while saying their vows. Takes from the Asatru/Viking tradition.
