Ring Bearer Walking Bride Down Aisle

So I've been stuck on who should talk me down the aisle, if anyone does. My parents passed when I was 11, and there aren't any other men in my life who I would really want to walk me either. So I've been adamant about walking myself, since I've basically raised myself.
But then there's my 6 yr old nephew, who is very shy and nervous to walk alone as ring bearer. So I'm thinking about having my ring bearer also give me away. Because whenever I look at him, I really do see my parents in him.

I think that's cute for him to walk with you. But I would mentally prepare for him to not want to do it last minute when he sees all the people seated, if he's REALLY shy. And that's ok. You will look great walking yourself down, too.

I agree with others and go for it! It would be super sweet! Something else you could consider is having a woman in your life walk you down. It doesn’t have to be a male! Just go with whatever you think you be best! Your ring bearer, another person, or your self. It’ll be a magical day no matter what!
