Ring Bearer Suit Color

That's perfectly fine! He will look adorable, and it's great that you are being considerate of his mom's situation. My son is my Man of Honor, and my sister is my Maid of Honor. She is wearing a periwinkle dress, so he will be in a light gray suit with a periwinkle tie like the groomsmen.

Our GMs rented navy tuxes, and my RB's mom just got him a navy suit from a department store and it was fine not being a perfect match. Honestly, I don't even think we have photos of the kids with the rest of the wedding party, and the kids sat for the ceremony, so our RB wasn't even really with the GMs at any point. So I wouldn't totally rule out finding yours a gray suit without at least looking. I think you'd be able to find something close.

Or, can his mom have him measured at a tailor convenient to her, and call in the measurements to the store? We had one GM who came in from OOT, and he got measured where he lives, called it into our rental place, and then one of the other GMs just picked it up for him when he picked up his. Maybe you could work something like that out?

If neither of those options work for you, then yes, it would also be totally fine to have your RB in navy.

Thank you all for the good advice! I figured I was totally overthinking it. We will probably go with the navy from a department store. He is my FH's cousin's son, so we will probably have a few pictures of him with FH and his brothers and I just didn't want him to look out of place.

I have no idea how old your ring bearer is, however if he's young, he may not even wear a whole suit. My nephew was just NOT having it at my SIL's wedding, and he just didn't wear a jacket or tie at all. He was only 2 though, so it wasn't a big deal. Makes me think for mine he might just wear some suspenders.

Totally fine; the ring bearer will still be in a wedding color shade. FH's GMs are wearing grey pants while FH is in a navy suit with a grey vest. I told the mother of our ring bearer that she can pick out either gray or navy shorts.

Look on Amazon for kids suits they are way cheaper. The store wanted to charge well over 100 dollars for a suit for my future step son, I found a 3 piece for 80 dollars. They have all sorts of colors and you can return free if it doesn't work out. Then you can Buy a few and try to match colors.

This is my color scheme! I have my ring bearer wearing blue like the bridesmaids and my flower girl is wearing gray like the groomsmen so that there is a little variation on both sides!

Our GMs are wearing charcoal grey suits and my BMs are wearing navy so I'm going this weekend to try and find a navy kids suits to get my RBs... Since Easter is early this year there's a bunch of Easter clothes coming out around this time. If you have any around you it might be worth it to take a look at Burlington?
