Ring bearer outfit? Does he have to match the groom?

FH is going to wear a dark gray suit, does the ring bearer have to match? What is everyone else doing or did you do? The reason I'm asking is because initially I wanted him to match but I've been looking at department stores and have found really good prices on toddler suits. The thing us, one I seen has dark gray pants but the vest is a lighter gray with very subtle purple plaid. The other has a dark gray vest but the pants are black. I'm trying to decide if it'd look weird if our ring bearer wore one of the two and didn't match FH exactly. He'll be about 2 yo so FH doesn't think anyone will really care/notice since he's a little kid. What do you all think? I'll attach photos of the two I'm considering in the comments

Me and FH son is 3. He is the ring bearer and Jr best man (our 9 year old daughter is Jr maid of honor). He is wearing the EXACT same tux as dad (the groom).

Ours is coordinating, not matching. He's wearing similar pants and shirt, but then suspenders without a jacket.

I would at least coordinate for the photos but I wouldn't worry about exact matching

My fh is wearing brown pants, a white vest and white tie. Groomsman are wearing brown pants, white shirt, coral tie and my son who is going to be 10 will be wearing brown shorts, white short sleeve dress shirt,and coral tie. I'm getting married in August and I know my son will be way to hot in pants... so we will be out of the norm but that's perfectly ok with us!

We ran into the same issue! FH and groomsmen are wearing charcoal gray, little boy tuxes are way too expensive, and I couldn't find any full suits to match! We ordered these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M1I42AN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_3ZX0ybA26A101. We paired it with a plaid bow tie and white shirt for the little ones. They look adorable and I don't think it matters they don't have jackets
