Ring Bearer-no Bridal Party

I wouldn't trust a 3 year old with our rings, but that's your decision. I've mostly seen people have the ring bearer carry fake rings or, if they're using a ring box instead of a pillow, just leave it empty. If you do decide to let him carry the rings, he could just hand them to the groom.

He could pass them to the groom or officiant, but I honestly wouldn't trust the rings with someone that young - mostly because if he has a meltdown or refuses to go down the aisle, you'd have to send them up with someone else.

We don't have a wedding party at all and one of our brothers will have the rings at his seat. Our officiant is just going to say "William, can I have the rings" and he will stand up and give them to her. I agree with others that I would have the little guy carry something fake/decorative.

I would have him carry fake rings down the aisle and let the officiant hold the rings till it's time.

We won't let our ring bearer (2.5) carry ours; our best man will hold them but in your case I'd just have your FH hold them.

I'd have your FH hold them. Then you know they are safe and sound.

We won't be having a bridal party either. I did want to include both our brothers in some way, so I may have them hold onto our rings and have the officiant call them both up to present them.
