I am have a flower girl and ring bearer at my wedding.
I know I’m not doing the traditional of flower girl throwing flowers.
But not sure bout just doing a bought or a sign. My flower girl is gonna be 18 months old and she only been walking 2 month as of now. I’m worried giving her objects may cause her problems with walking.
For ring bearer don’t like the ring pillow. So if I would give him something to hold it would be a box. But starting to think not to give them anything just let me them walk down together

Personally, I’m not having any kids in my wedding party because they are too unpredictable. But I think letting them walk together would be very sweet, he could hold a sign and she could have the rings in bag tied to her wrist. Hopefully that doesn’t interfere with her walking.

I’ve seen it where the ring girl is in a wagon and the ring bearer or someone is pulling the wagon. She could be holding like ribbon wands or something

He could hold her hand to stabilize her, and maybe have them practice walking that distance together. Or have another older girl (10-12) carry her if she’s not walking well. The 10-12 could be used as an alternate if the 18month is too fussy.

I’m having the same issue. My ring bearer will be 2 years old then and he’s already climbing on everything and being a little tyrant so I don’t know if it’ll be a wise choice to use him. The other boys in my family will be about 7-10 years old but I think that may be too old ?

My flower girl is carrying a flower wand and her brother is probably going to carry a sign. We cannot drop petals at our church and I really don’t like the ring pillow so that is what we are doing. I have attached a picture of the wand that I am having made by my florist or something similar.
