Need advice! I wanted a simple looking Ruby engagement ring and I love it. Problem is my FH custom ordered it and the ring doesn't sit as high as it was supposed to and because of its unique shape the band can't lay flush against the engagement ring. I ordered this wedding ring and I think I like it but I'm not sure if it's "ok" to have it mismatched. The Ruby in the e-ring is a lot darker than the rubies in band. I can return if I want but only have seven days to decide. Also what do y'all think of getting another one just like it but on the other side to add symmetry?

I don’t think I’d get the other one for symmetry. I’ve got mismatched rings too.

I think it's totally okay to have the mismatched styles. Smiley smile

The only thing that I'm not 100% in love with is that the stones like you mentioned are different colors. I think that would bother me a little, but i think it would look really pretty with a band on each side!

I think mismatched is good but I would definitely do another one for symmetry. Just me though. It is very pretty.

Real gem stones are different shades, so theres never a guarantee that they will match exactly. I think another band on top will complete the look and make you feel better about how unique and beautiful it is. Ring advice 4
I wanted 1 band but my fiance insisted on getting both and I love the look. Its definitely one of a kind.

It is fine how it is, but if it bothers you wear one of the rings on your other hand.

I would go with another band on top just to make it symmetrical. I love that the stones are different colors. And that ring is gorgeous, by the way. 😍😍
