Rime Arodaky + Galia Lahav Gowns

I know a few people that have worn a galia dress. I didn’t want to spend more than $5k on a dress though so I didn’t even look at them.

True! They are gorgeous but not sure if they’re worthy of such a hefty price tag. However, I have not seen one in person yet. I’m open to pre-owned and samples. 🤞🏾

I tried few Galia Lahav dresses. I loved how her fitted dresses look online. Attached are the ones that I still have photos of.
In person, I found her dresses too small on the top (and as you can see I’m far from large chested lol) & also very heavy (due to beading & materials used), which I didn’t like. They definitely feel haute couture, but some are absurdly pricey (like $10k or more). Her Gala line is significantly cheaper than other lines & is more fitted & modern looking, which I like.

Those gowns are everything on you!!

I love her line. I ended up going with Rara Avis who has a few similar styles but is significantly cheaper. You should definitely check out stillwhite.com and see if you can get a Galia dress.

If you like Galia, consider Netta BenShabu. Similar sexy style but less expensive.

The gown by Galia I liked was way over $10,000. My dress budget was $ 5000. I did not go over budget.
