Caitlyn, on June 25, 2019 at 6:25 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 5
I’ve been trying to figure out what to throw or do when me and my future husband enter the reception i know rice isn’t good idea even tho my reception and wedding is inside but bubbles don’t ever go the way you want and i don’t want to make a huge mess in the reception hall and sparklers are an outdoor thing does anyone have any ideas

I've never heard of having guests toss things as you enter the reception. I've only seen it done exiting the ceremony or the reception. I'm not sure there's anything you can throw in the reception space and just leave it there for the entire reception without it being odd. It would also be odd to have someone sweeping or on the ground cleaning it up during the reception. I think I would just skip it, but you could do ribbon wands or glow sticks maybe.

Glow sticks, wands, ribbons, fiber optic wands. I would check with the venue before tossing things, mine forbids doing that.

I used bubbles and let me tell ya - they certainly make for a beautiful pic. But I do see what you mean because some of my guests told me the bubbles sometimes flew the other way
