Rewards?

Hi Alyssa! There haven't been any winners yet, because the first edition of the sweepstakes just started yesterday! In the meantime you can check out the leaderboard of participants to see who's been earning entries.

Winner selection will happen the first Tuesday following the end of each sweepstakes edition, and then we'll notify the winner and get their story! You can expect the announcement of the winner of the December 2018 sweepstakes edition in early January. We'll be posting about it here in the forums as well!

They pick a winner in January. I am sure they will pick a winner. Yes this will also help out wedding wire. They are not asking for money just for vendors and reviews. if you have one not in this site you can invite them. If a vendor was bad leave a bad review. So entering cost o bucks.

Yeah some of my vendors are not on WW, I tried to add vendors but they don’t show up...

View Quoted Comment I am assuming. You add your vendor name and adress under the venue list they belong under and let your vendor know. It can also help your vendor I know they have a tab you can enter it.

i assumed ww asked me for their phone and email to send out notifications

so they want us to ask all of our vendors to go through a signup process so we maybe have a chance to get an entry to a contest to maybe win 10k?

so how long will it take my vendors to “join”?

will I get some kind of notification because I entered their info in add vendors? Or I’m supposed to search regularly and try and see which of my vendors might have chosen to be interested and join?

Hey Alyssa! The purpose of the sweepstakes isn't a referral program to sign up your vendors, it's to reward you for planning your wedding with WeddingWire!

To make sure the entries are legitimate, we reach out to your vendors for confirmation after you request entries for meeting with or hiring a vendor. Your vendors receive an automatic email asking them to confirm, which they can do directly from that email or within their WeddingWire account. Obviously this system only works if the vendor has an account with us!

Since accounts are free and it would help you out with sweepstakes entries, you can ask your vendors to sign up with WeddingWire - but that's your choice! Most wedding pros will ask where you found their information and what sites you're using, because it's just good business information to know where your couples are doing their planning.

I am getting married at a country club. So my reciption , venue and catering is the same place. Can I enter it 3 different times

i have cross vendors too but they’re in multiple categories in vendor managemener but only one for entries

Hi Colleen! You request entries by vendor, not by service category! So if you have one vendor covering your catering and the venue - you can request entries from them once for meeting with them and once for booking them!
