Reviews of vendors - are they trustworthy

I reviewed my wedding coordinator, who I was very displeased with. I was not a high maintenance bride and LOVED all my other vendors. Soon after she 'disputed' the review and it was taken down. wedding wire asked me to provide proof that i had worked with her, so i sent the final invoice as well as a chain of emails with her where we discussed the things she was supposed to do that she just completely didn't. Despite repeated follow-up wedding wire never got back to me and never restored the review. This really makes me wonder if the reason there are so many positive reviews on this website is because any honest negative ones are taken down. How can we trust it as a source of information then? I imagine this will get taken down as well but wanted to raise it since others, like me, probably reply on this as a source of 'honest' information.
