Return/exchange online dress from Davids Bridal

I would check their return/exchange policy, but I would assume that if you buy it at the sale price and exchange it, you only get the price you paid (not the original price) because you didn't pay more for it. Someone said that if it's on sale, you might be able to exchange it but if it's in the oulet, no.

That said, in the stores (where I bought mine), once you take it out of the store -all sales are final.

It says that you can return online by mail within a certain amount of days. I would assume as well that it would exchange evenly, though I would have to pay shipping to send the first one back to them. Just want to make sure! It's on sale, but it's not in the outlet section.

Do you have time to go get sized? Because I have no experience in this at all, but I know from shipping my laptop to be fixed once, shipping prices are not cheap! And I cannot imagine what it would be like to ship a wedding dress back.. yikes!

You would get a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) for the dress you purchased and you would have to send it back. They do not do exchanges online, just flat out returns. You have 14 days from the date of receipt (I think) to request an RMA and then 14 days to send it back. They then take up to 14 days to credit you back.

So if it's the wrong size, you will not be able to exchange and will have to purchase the new one at whatever price it is at that time.

Now I'm really not sure what to do.. it's a really good sale and I ordered a 2 because I tried on a few dresses in store in size 4 & 6 and they were big, but now I'm wondering if a 2 will be too small. Has anyone returned a dress they ordered online from Davids Bridal? It seems simple enough, though I don't know how much shipping would be.
