Return stamp on save the dates and invites

Kelly, on November 19, 2022 at 7:46 AM Posted in Planning 0 12
Hi! I don’t know why I am struggling with this one. We are planning to send out the save the dates this week and using a pre-inked stamp as the return address. Should we use “the future mr and mrs….” Or “Kris and Kelly….”
Ha! Thank you in advance! I’m clearly a devil for the details.jerry-parks.gif

When I did return address I put our names at the time so it would have been Veronica Smith and Ben Davis for example.

Mine personally say our first names for the save the dates. partially because we used my fiances full first name on the save the date when most people know him by the shortened version (Christian/Chris). And I think Ill do the future mr. & mrs. on the invites/rsvp return address. Do whatever you want!

Just use your names are these just save the date or invitations for now. Then on the invitations envelopes you can use the future Mr. and Mrs.. Once you are ready to send the actual invitation. I still have to do my name change and it only has been 20days lol.

Whichever you want. Save the dates are informal so can use your first names. That way, you get more use from the stamp after the wedding instead of something that you will only use once.

For our save the dates, I used my full name and his full name. I had to ask the parentals on that one!

I had a stamp made that said The _________ (our last name) and then our address.

We did our first names so we could still use it after the wedding — it’s still what we use as our return address label for everything !

Personally, I like the idea of ink stamps so good on you for using them. I am also in the camp of making your stamps more universal by having them be just your your names for now. It’ll be more useful down the road!

I bought a personalized stamp with just both of our first names. I did it that way because had I done "Future Mr. and Mrs." I wouldn't have been able to use it after the wedding. So now I still use that stamp and then whenever we move I'll probably buy a new one with our new address that says "Mr. and Mrs."

We did “future mr & Mrs” but I was okay with only being able to use it for save the dates and invites
