Did you fill the space on the front of your invite if you put return address on back?

No, just left it blank. I'm not sure what you'd fill it with.

No, we just left it blank. I don't think you'd want to put a sticker or anything else there, you wouldn't want to confuse USPS.

I've seen folks stamp initials, or use stickers. I don't like that but I wasn't sure if the bare envelope was unattractive.

We put the guests' address on the front and our return address on the back.

We had a stamp made with our address and stamped it on the back. We had guest addresses printed from the company we got our save the dates from and they took up a pretty good chunk of the envelope. It would have looked weird if we put our return address on it too.

When I dropped of my invites the lady at the USPS desk remarked on my having put the return address on the front. She said it's better to have them on the front in case the envelopes get scanned from the back side in which case they get sent back to you(the return address) instead of the intended recipient.

Looks like you centered the addresses on the front and they have a design which filled up some space.

Got it, that's what i'm thinking. May have to make the address on front a bit larger to take up more space.

I know most people put their return address on the back of the invites but I agree with the other poster, the post office prefers the return address on the front. I'm going to do whatever helps get my invites to their intended destinations!
